Gretchen’s Life Day -6

10 Feb

Samantha my oldest is 15 now. I no longer pack her lunches for school. She takes care of that herself. Although I admire her independence and respect that she is growing into an adult I do so miss packing her lunches and enclosing a little note with something like “you are the best or I love you”. Today while she is at school and play practice I plastered her room with post its of all the things I might say if I could still stick a note in her lunch without risking her total humiliation in front of her high-school friends. Some of the notes read, “God has BIG plans for you, I trust you, and You are beautiful”. I hope it makes her day and makes her feel as special and loved as she is.
