Stephen: Day 46

Dani and Jason had me over for dinner again. Dani’s sisters were in town, so we went to Whole Foods this afternoon and got a bunch of supplies. For some reason some of my photos didn’t turn out (exposure was way too high), so I don’t have photos of every dish. But here is a little compilation.

We started off with sautéed mushrooms and bell peppers on an endive leaf with goat cheese and a balsamic reduction.

Then we had fried calamari over mixed greens and a lime-mascarpone dressing with sauteed hearts of palm (it was pretty awesome).

For the main course we had sesame encrusted ahi tuna, apple celeriac salad with a mango salsa (I actually make this dish a lot).

For dessert we had chocolate cupcakes with ganache and a buttercream frosting (these cupcakes were A-mazing!) with a side of baileys on the rocks.
