The News: E-Readers/Kindles Take Longer To Read. It’s unknown as to why right now, but a study was done (by Jakob Nielson of Nielson Norman Group) proving the Kindle and other e-readers like the iPad slow readers down. Readers in the study were, on average, 10.7% slower when reading the Kindle than when reading print.

Speculations offer if this research is true, then Universities may not decide to use them in classrooms as rumors had previously revealed.

My Comments: I had to blog about this because I really do not want e-readers to swallow up printed books. Anything against the Kindle, the iPad and other e-readers, I will let you know about on this blog.
